A minimum of 10 pieces is required. The Paypal button below currently doesn't allow for a minimum purchase. Please specify a minimum of "10" during checkout. If you have only five pieces, you must still specify a minimum quantity of ten (10). If you have 16 pieces, please specify a quantity of 16; 23 pieces would require a quantity of 23, but 7 pieces will still require a minimum quantity of 10, etc. etc. If a minimum of ten pieces isn't chosen during checkout, the order will be cancelled and you'll be invited to try again.
Please choose a time-slot to suit your schedule. These shoots are done every Monday. Please do not order more than one Monday in advance. You are ordering a time-slot for THE NEXT COMING MONDAY, not the Monday AFTER the next coming Monday.
If you order this service, your payment is considered NON-REFUNDABLE, even if you DON'T SHOW UP for ANY REASON. Even if Aliens attack and steal your little sister, probe your dog and abduct your Mother, we will still KEEP YOUR MONEY. When you buy this time-slot, you own it. We cannot use it for any other client. Therefore, that time is lost to us whether you show, or not. If you arrive too late for us to complete the work before the next customer arrives, your payment will be forfeit and you will have to reschedule.
Our address is in Ballard, Seattle. You'll receive an email within 24 hours after your payment has been validated, with the exact address and driving instructions (we're close to a major intersection). Parking is usually not a problem. You will be required to handle your own artwork at all times (if it's raining please cover your artwork appropriately from your vehicle to our door). Our studio is located in a back room of a 2-shift printing shop which occupies the whole top floor of an apartment building.
Printing of your digitized artwork is available by special arrangement, at any size, on any media including fine-art canvas, or even textiles, dry-erase, silk, and other exotic media. Prices range from cheap to expensive and are quoted on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to refuse to print any artwork for any reason.
On occasion we can offer the use of the latest photoshop versions and filters running on dual-quad processors if you would like to color-correct your work, or tweak it in any other way before downloading it to your computer. We can sometimes offer this at no charge, depending on our schedule. If our schedule is very slow, we can sometimes offer burning to Blu-Ray, if desired (you would need a Blu-Ray reader to retrieve the files at your end). Extra charges obviously apply.
This service was designed and conceived for the starving artist who has created work of great import (at least to them), and who needs a way to get that art into digitized form so that it can be tweaked, corrected, altered, and/or copies can be made. Wide format scanners are unacceptable for framed art, and even, often, for unframed art as they can sometimes crush, tear, smear and otherwise wreak havoc on old or delicate media. If the digital resolutions shown above will not meet your needs, we can photograph your work using large format film cameras (4x5 and 8x10), then scan the transparencies at 3200dpi optical resolution for absolutely stunning detail. File sizes run about a gig per piece. This is a slow and relatively expensive process. Usually, the resolution our digital cameras can provide is more than sufficient.
